A New Chapter for Fragments of Grace

“Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. - Philippians 1:6

Over the last few days, I spent every spare moment giving Fragments of Grace a little bit of a facelift.

For three days straight, every pocket of time went into adjusting pages, moving sections, rewriting pieces, and slowly shaping the website into something that better reflects the vision I’ve carried for it.

Last night, very late, I finally hit publish.

It wasn’t perfect.

There were still things I could tweak, sections I might rearrange later, and details that could probably be polished a little more. But it was ready enough to share.

So today, I’m excited to officially say: welcome to the newly refreshed Fragments of Grace.

While the look of the site may have changed, the heart behind it hasn’t.

Fragments of Grace will always be a space for honest reflection — where faith meets the realities of everyday life. A place to talk about the struggles, the growth, the healing, and the quiet ways God works in the middle of it all.

But this new version of the site also marks the beginning of something more.

Over the coming months, I’ll be sharing more reflections and continuing to build what Fragments of Grace is becoming—a devotional book, meaningful merch, and new ways for this community to connect and grow together.

Because somewhere in the middle of all that editing and rearranging, something struck me.

This is exactly how God works with us.

Over time, the vision becomes clearer. Things get refined. Pieces get moved around. Some things are removed entirely, and other things are added that we never saw coming.

Slowly, patiently, He shapes what once felt scattered into something meaningful.

Not overnight.

Not all at once.

But little by little.

When I looked at the updated site last night, I couldn’t help but see my own life in it.

Some seasons didn’t make sense at the time. Pieces that felt broken. Moments that looked unfinished.

But God has a way of taking fragments and forming something beautiful.

God never wastes the fragments.

What began as a simple place to write has slowly become a space for reflection, honesty, faith, and growth.

And if I’m being honest, the website may have been what I was working on — but the deeper work has been happening in me.

Jesus has been editing my story, too.

Removing things that didn’t belong.Rearranging priorities.Refining places in my heart that still needed His grace.

And that same work is happening in you.

I don’t believe for a second that this is just my story.

It’s God’s story.

And the truth is, He is writing the same kind of story in every one of us.

That’s what Fragments of Grace has always been about — learning to notice the pieces. The quiet moments where God is shaping something in us long before we understand what He is building.

The healing.

The growth.

The becoming.

My hope is that when you spend time here, you begin to recognize those fragments in your own life, too.

The places where grace quietly appeared. The moments where God was working, even when things felt unfinished.

Because none of us arrive fully formed.

We are all being refined.

Rearranged.

Slowly shaped into something more beautiful than we could have imagined.

And if there is one thing I have learned, it is this:

God never wastes the fragments.

If you’re new here, welcome.

And if you’ve been walking this journey with me for a while, thank you for being part of the story.

This refreshed space is just the beginning.

More reflections, conversations, and fragments are still to come.

Because sometimes the fragments we share today become the pages of the story God is still writing.

Reflection

Take a moment to pause and think about your own story.

  • Is there a season of your life that once felt broken, confusing, or unfinished — but now you can see how God was working in it?

Sometimes the very fragments we wish we could skip become the places where God does His deepest work.

  • Where might God be shaping something in your life right now that you don’t fully understand yet?

My Prayer

Jesus,

Thank You for being patient with the process of our lives. Thank You that You never abandon the work You begin in us, even when we feel unfinished or uncertain.

Help me trust the way You are shaping my story. When life feels scattered or unclear, remind me that You are still working — refining, rearranging, and forming something beautiful in ways I cannot yet see.

Give me

faith to trust Your timing, courage to keep walking forward, and eyes to recognize Your grace in the middle of the fragments.

Amen.
